Rosy Maple Moth

In my recent curiosity for moths, I came across this unbelievably vibrant beauty. It looks like if you applied strawberry banana flavoring to a plush little marshmallow with velvet wings. Ugh, I could go on!

This bubbly looking friend is part of my Entomology series, which was completed in 2022. There are four beautiful insects that I chose to focus on and this cotton candy creature is the daintiest of the group. 

I used square canvases and a drip ink throughout the series.
